Hospitality Scholarship Golf Tournament set for July 13 at Birch Run Golf Club
ALLEGANY — Golfers are invited to tee up for a great cause at the Second Annual Hospitality Scholarship Golf Tournament, taking place Sunday, July 13 at Birch Run Golf Club. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Greater Olean Area Hospitality Scholarship Fund, helping local students pursue college degrees, with a special focus on hospitality-related careers.
The day kicks off with a complimentary Early Bird Morning Snack from 8 to 8:45 a.m. — featuring coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches — with a 9 a.m. shotgun start for the four-person scramble. Only 60 golfers will be accepted, so early registration is encouraged.
The $75 golfer entry fee includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, a chicken BBQ dinner, one drink ticket, entry into a skins game and access to raffles and mulligans. Golfers will also enjoy complimentary name-pull raffles and chances to win big-ticket prizes.
First place will receive $400 for the best foursome, second place will earn $200 in Pro Shop gift cards and third place will win a scorecard raffle prize of $50.
Whether you’re in it to win it or just to support a great cause, this tournament offers something for everyone — plus the satisfaction of helping a deserving student achieve their educational goals.
