CONTRACTORS

SEALED BIDS for the 2024-2025 Tree Pruning, Cutting, and Chipping Contract, for the City of Olean, New York, can be mailed by regular mail to City of Olean DPW, 101 E State Street, Olean, NY 14760. Bids can be hand delivered or “overnight” mailed to the City of Olean DPW, 101 E State St, Police Dispatch Window (NE side of Municipal Building on Times Square), Olean, NY, 14760 until 2:20 pm, Thursday, May 8, 2025

Information and specifications may be obtained from the Department of Public Works Office, 101 E State Street, Olean, NY or by calling (716) 376-5650 or emailing alarue@

cityofolean.org.

Bids must be submitted on the prescribed Proposal Form and must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of $1500.00. Bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked on the outside thereof:

“BID FOR TREE WORK”.

An executed Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate shall

accompany each proposal. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 45 days after opening.

The City of Olean reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, or to readvertise for bids, if the best interest of the City of Olean will be served thereby.
