NOTICE TO

CONTRACTORS

Sealed bids for hauling sludge, grit and screenings from the City of Olean Sewage Treatment Plant will

be received at the Office of the Director of Public Works, 101 E State St, PO Box 668, Olean, NY

14760, until 2:15 pm on Thursday, May 8, 2025, and will be publicly opened and read at the time and place aforementioned.

Information for bidders, plans and specifications, proposal form, form of contract, etc. may be obtained

from the Department of Public Works Office, 101 E State St, Olean, NY, or by calling (716) 376-5651,

or amiller@

cityofolean.org. Only bidders on our bidders’ list will be considered

responsive.

Sealed bids will be received at the City of Olean DPW, 101 E State St, PO Box 668, Olean, NY 14760.

Bids must be submitted on the prescribed Proposal Form and must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond for not less than five (5) percent of the bid. Each bidder shall submit their bid in a

sealed envelope marked on the outside thereof: "BID FOR HAULING SLUDGE".

An executed Non-Collusive Bidding Certification shall accompany each proposal. Failure to provide this certification will result in not having the bid read. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 45 days after

opening.

The City of Olean reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive technicalities, or readvertise if the best interest of the City of Olean will be served thereby.
