NOTICE TO

CHEMICAL

SUPPLIERS

The City of Olean will receive sealed bids for chemical purchases until 1:55 PM, Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Office of the Director of Public Works, Municipal Building, 101 East State Street, PO Box 668, Olean, NY, 14760, where they will be publicly opened and read.

Chemicals to be bid are: Chlorine, Sodium Hypochlorite, Hydrofluosilicic Acid, Polymer, Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda), and DelPac 2020.

Information for bidders, plans and specifications, proposal form, form of contract, etc. may be obtained from the Department of Public Works Office, 101 E State St, Olean NY, or by calling (716) 376-5651 or amiller@

cityofolean.org.

Sealed bids will be received at City of Olean DPW, 101 E State St, PO Box 668, Olean, NY 14760. Only bidders on our bidder’s list will be considered responsive. Bid envelope must be clearly marked: "CHEMICAL

PURCHASE-DPW".

Each bidder must accompany his bid with a signed Non-Collusive Bidding Certification. Failure to provide this certification will result in not having the bid read.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of forty-five (45) days from date of opening.

The City of Olean reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to select the bids it deems to be in the best interest of the City.
