INTENT TO

ADOPT AN

ORDINANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of the Borough of Ulysses, Potter County, Pennsylvania, gives notice of intent to adopt an Ordinance pertaining to providing for alternative dispute resolution for residents who believe they are in violation of ordinances. Ulysses Borough will adopt said ordinance at a regular meeting on April 23, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ulysses Borough Community Building located at 524 Main Street, Ulysses, PA 16948.

A brief summary of the Ordinance is as follows: Providing for alternative dispute resolution through issuing tickets rather than citations or other enforcement actions, to permit residents who believe they are in violation to pay the ticket rather than engage in costly and lengthy court or other enforcement proceedings.

A copy of the proposed Ordinance is available for inspection during regular business hours at the Ulysses Borough Offices located at 518 Main Street, Ulysses, PA 16948.
