Cattaraugus Community Action is soliciting bids for asbestos ABATEMENT per EPA and NYS requirements, as required prior to demolition and disposal of client’s old mobile home.

Belmont, N.Y. – Bids are being solicited for Cattaraugus County Mobile Home Replacement Initiative, CDBG 20MH337-23, abatement for approximately 210 square feet of asbestos containing vinyl flooring, for project located on Wolf Run Road, Cuba, NY.

It is the responsibility of the bidder to contact the Agency or refer to the County’s Website to determine if any addendums are issued. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid determined to be in the best interest of the County.

Bids are to be returned to Jeff Hampshire via email with WOLF RUN ROAD, AMHRI 20MH337-23 ASBESTOS ABATEMENT BID included in subject line. Bids are to be in Word or PDF format on bidders’ letterhead. Bids are due by 4:00 p.m. on JUNE 9, 2025.

The County in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and New York State Labor Law; Article 8 – Public Work, Section 220e hereby notifies all contractors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contracts awarded as a result of this bid solicitation will be awarded without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin.
