Christine ‘Teena’ Klimczyk Ash
SPRING HILL, Fla. — Christine “Teena” Klimczyk Ash, age 91, passed away Monday (May 4, 2026) in Spring Hill.
Teena was born and raised in Olean, N.Y. On Sept. 11, 1954, in Transfiguration Church in Olean, she married her husband of now 73 years, Michael “Mickey” Ash, who survives.
She was a 1951 graduate of Olean High School.
Prior to moving to Florida in 1998, she previously lived in Olean, Niagara Falls, N.Y., New Jersey, Albany, N.Y., Buffalo, N.Y., New York City and Allegany, N.Y.
Christine was a long-time member of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Spring Hill.
Besides her husband, she is survived by sons, Michael Jr. of Tampa and Stephen of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Susan (Mark) Blanton of North Carolina and Lisa (Robert White) Ash of Puerto Rico; three grandchildren, Jason Neff, Emily Case and Alexandra Pillow; and five great-grandchildren, Mason, Ares, Chase, John-Austin and Leighton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Louise Klimczyk; a sister, Mary Lou (Jack) Wisniewski; twin brothers, Ronald and Stanley Klimczyk; and a grandson, Stephen M. Ash Jr.
Services will be held in Olean at a later date with internment at St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Allegany.
