Michele M. Harrington

OLEAN — Michele M. Harrington, of Brook Street, passed away Thursday (Jan. 8, 2026).

Michele was born in Olean on July 15, 1975, the daughter of Michael D. and Susanne M. Hurlburt Harrington.

Michele graduated from Ellicottville in 1993 and graduated from OBI in 1995 with an associate’s degree in business.

She started her career at Cutco Corporation in 1997 as a customer service representative and was later promoted to full-time in 2000. She claimed her current role as an admin service representative in 2021.

Anyone who knew Michele knew how special she was. She was bubbly, funny, sweet and caring. She was someone who lit up every room with her big smile and loud laugh.

She was a proud Dallas Cowboys fan and lifelong Buffalo Bills hater, which she wore like a badge of honor despite all the Bills fans in her life. Michele enjoyed watching football and wrestling, golfing, and laughing with friends and family. She will be missed by all who knew and adored her.

Michele is survived by her mom and dad, Susanne and Michael Harrington; her two children, Emma N. (Aiden) Washington and Ethan N. Washington; her sisters, Monica (Rich) Harrington and Melissa (Milo) Harrington; aunts, Sharon John and Sandy (Frank) Selice; and nephews, Karson and Maverick,

A memorial gathering will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday (Jan. 16, 2026) at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean.
