Harold F. ‘Hal’ Wiley
BRADFORD, Pa. — Harold F. ‘Hal’ Wiley, 85, of 24 Abbott Rd., Bradford, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the Bradford Manor after a courageous battle with Parkinsons disease.
He was born on January 5, 1940 in Bradford; a son of the late Kenneth and Helen Kelly Wiley.
He was a 1957 graduate of the former St. Bernard High School, Bradford, and he earned his certificate in drafting from the Williamsport Technical Institute, Williamsport, PA.
On June 13, 1964 in the St. Bernard Catholic Church, Bradford; he married Karen Steinfeldt who survives.
He was a United States Army veteran who served until his honorable discharge in 1961.
He was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church where he served as an altar boy when he was a child and later in life he served as a Religious Ed teacher and a Eucharistic Minister. He faithfully attended Upbeat at the Bradford Regional Medical Center and the Bradford YMCA. He was an avid sportsman; who loved fishing, golfing at Pine Acres and cheering on the St. Bonaventure Bonnies and the Cleveland Browns.
He was employed in Olean, as the Regional Sales Manager for Industrial Bearing Corp. for twenty-five years until it was bought by Bearings Distributors Inc.; where he continued to work until his retirement.
In addition to his wife of sixty-one years, Karen Wiley of Bradford, he is also survived by two daughters, Jill (Greg) Zickefoose of Bradford and Jennifer (Larry Rondinelli) Hobbs of Warren, PA; one brother, Donald Wiley of East Fallowfield Twp, PA; one sister, Carol (Hugh) Feiro of Bradford; two granddaughters, Lauren (Mason) Stark of Ridgway, PA and Abby Zickefoose of Bradford; one great granddaughter, Parker Stark of Ridgway and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by one sister, Martha Auteri.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the St. Bernard Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 11:00 in the church with the Rev. James Gutting as celebrant.
