PORTVILLE — Rebekah Miriam Thompson, formerly of Portville, born Jan. 30, 1957, went home to be with the Lord suddenly and quickly as she was preparing for breakfast at The Pines Healthcare Facility in Olean, on the morning of Wednesday (Oct. 29, 2025), after an extended illness.

A funeral service for Rebekah will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 4, 2025) at the Guenther Funeral Home, 51 S. Main St., Portville, with burial to follow at the Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Portville, with Pastor Mark Beckwith of the Portville Baptist Church officiating.
