Dolores Blanch Anthony Torpey, loving mother and grandmother
BELMONT — Dolores Blanch Anthony Torpey, 93, of Belmont, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday (Oct. 28, 2025).
Born Nov. 3, 1932, in Bradford, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Bertha McCarty and Leslie Anthony.
On May 12, 1979, in Cuba, she married Charles E. Torpey, who passed away Oct. 28, 2007.
Mrs. Torpey attended schools in Cuba and had worked as a nurse’s aide at Cuba Memorial Hospital and later for Jan and Bev’s Homecare.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise Ross of Belmont; a son and daughter-in-law, Leslie and Linda Kameck of Cuba; five grandchildren, Michael Ross, Steven Ross, Michael Kameck, Jeremy Kameck and Mellisa Hayward; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Kameck; and granddaughter, Marsha Kameck.
Friends will be received from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 1, 2025) at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, 24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba. A graveside committal service will follow at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Chapman, pastor of Allegany Baptist Church, will officiate.
