William K. ‘Willy’ Perkins Jr.
FRANKLINVILLE — William K. Perkins Jr., of Route 16, passed away Monday (Oct. 20, 2025) at Olean General Hospital.
Willy was born Nov. 19, 1950, in Olean, and was the son of William C. and Lorretta M. Durphy Perkins Sr.
Willy worked at Buffalo Crushed Stone as a loader operator for 47 years until his retirement in March of 2016. He was a volunteer fireman for Franklinville for many years.
Willy enjoyed hanging out on Friday’s with Bruce & Nancy Dallas at Dakes and many other friends. He also enjoyed playing Take 5 Numbers.
Willy is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Sean) Clear and Patty (Fred) Zuech; a son, Paul Perkins; six grandchildren, Trevor and Tyler Clear, Ashley (Andrew) and Kiara Leederman, Chloe and Sabastian Perkins; a step-grandson, Joel (Stefaine) Clear; a step-great-granddaughter, Faylin Clear; three sisters, Sandi (Ed West) Perkins, Cheryl Proffitt and Debbie Bump; a brother, David Perkins; and many nieces and nephews.
Willy was predeceased by his parents; and two sisters, Mary E. Holland and Nancy L. Klink.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday (Oct. 25, 2025) at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home, 7 N. Main St., Franklinville, at which time a funeral service will be held. The Rev. Tim Chase will officiate. Burial will be in the Curriers Rural Cemetery in Arcade.
