BELMONT — The Allegany County Board of Legislators has funding available for local youth services from the state Office of Children and Family Services.

Allegany County youth sports organizations have the opportunity to submit proposals for the reimbursement of certain expenses from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30, 2026.

The county is also accepting proposals for the Youth Developmental Program. This is a change from years past as awards were based on historical data.

Eligibility details and information on the application process may be found on the Allegany County website, Youth Bureau section: https://www.alleganyco.gov/departments/youth-bureau/. The application deadline for both programs is Oct. 28.
