Margaret L. ‘Peggy’ Hopkins
BRADFORD, Pa. — Margaret L. “Peggy” Hopkins, 94, of Bradford, passed away Friday (Oct. 10, 2025) at the Bradford Manor.
She was born May 18, 1931, in Kane, a daughter of the late Fred and Rose Boylan Truesdale. On Nov. 9, 1963, in Smethport, she married Robert “Hoppy” Hopkins, who preceded her in death May 29, 2016.
She was a graduate of the Bradford Area High School.
She was employed locally with Servomation from 1978 until her retirement in 1994.
She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Bradford. She was a former member of the Marche Club Auxiliary and the Red Hat Ladies. She was also a former volunteer with the BRMC Auxiliary.
Peggy loved sending cards to and receiving cards in the mail from friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, John (Ruth) Kline and Bob (Brian Corbett) Hopkins, all of Bradford; four grandchildren, Jason (Elaine) Kline, Tiffany Kline, Crystal (Dustin) Blaske-Cooney and Steve (Tricia) Blaske; six great-grandchildren, Jessa Kline, Aralyn Hance, Jack Kline, Bentley Blaske, Braxton Cooney and Brynlee Cooney; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Alan Kline; one daughter, Cheryl Blaske; infant brother, Bobby Truesdale; and one sister, Beverly Ann Truesdale.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 15, 2025) at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc., with funeral services to immediately follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. James Gutting, former senior associate pastor of the St. Bernard Catholic Church, officiating. Private burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
