Jacquline M. Harmon,  beloved wife, mother, grandmother, “Aunt Jackie”

FRIENDSHIP — Jacquline M. Harmon, 84, of 68 E. Main S., Friendship, passed away Saturday (Oct. 11, 2025) at Wellsville Manor Care Center, after a lengthy illness.

Born Jan. 23, 1941, in Friendship, she was a daughter of Arthur and Maxine White Whitwood. On April 22, 1965, she married Ronald J. Harmon, who survives.

Jacquline graduated from Friendship Central School in 1959. She was a stay-at-home mother when her children were younger and for many years was a babysitter in her home for numerous children in the community.

Jacquline was a member of the Friendship Church of God in Christ.

She liked bowling and was the league secretary for many years. She bowled in Cuba, Friendship and Belmont. At home she enjoyed crocheting and sewing.

She is survived by her husband, Ron; her children, D. Tracy Davis of Belmont, Gary (Yvonne) Davis, Pamela Davis, Debra (Chad Watson) Corbett and Darrin (Gina) Harmon, all of Friendship; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Janet Hale of Friendship and Sharon Garrido of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Joel P. Davis; three brothers, Raymond, James and Benjamin Whitwood; and three sisters, Dorla Cummins, Josephine Taylor and Jeanine Hadsell.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 15, 2025) at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull St., Cuba; and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 16, 2025), at which time a funeral service will begin in the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship.
