A carpet of fall maple leaves are seen along North 7th Street in Allegany this week. While some badly needed rain fell Tuesday and early Wednesday, New York state announced Wednesday that Cattaraugus and Allegany counties were listed as bring under drought warning. Friday will be clear with a low in the lower 60s while Saturday will be partly sunny and little warmer with a high in the upper 60s. There is a chance of rain on Sunday.
