Robert G. Hinman

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Robert G. Hinman, aged 90, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, in New Port Richey.

He was born Dec. 28, 1934, in Salamanca, N.Y.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Barbara Hinman Whittaker; son, Edward C Hinman; stepsons, Jeffrey Reed, Shawn Hinman and John Hinman; stepdaughter, Terri Hinman; sister, Dorothy Niver; brother, Richard Hinman; and extended family scattered throughout New York and Pennsylvania.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, Donald F. and Lola G. Hinman; wife, Genevieve B Hinman; and son, Donald H Hinman.

A church service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at the Roberts Memorial Free Methodist Church, at 111 South St., Cattaraugus, with a gathering after. Robert will be buried at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell alongside his wife.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
