Stella Smith

FILLMORE — Stella Smith, of Fillmore, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2025.

She was born Jan. 18, 1949, in Germany, a daughter of the late Jan and Helena Rogalski. She is now reunited with her late husband, Glenn M. Smith. The couple was married March 18, 1993.

Stella was a talented artist, music enthusiast, gardener and animal lover. She was an avid hunter and also cared for and protected all kinds of birds and wildlife on their land, as well as many dogs and cats over the years.

Stella began working at a young age to contribute to her family and was a skilled technician at Abba Printing in Rochester until she and Glenn made Fillmore their permanent home.

Surviving is her son, John (Valerie) Gieler of Kansas, and their sons, Drake, Quentin and Sloane; as well as three additional grandsons, Brandon and Brad Gieler of Nevada and Zach Gieler of Perry.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.

Memorials if desired may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are undet the direction of the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee St., Fillmore.
