GREAT VALLEY — Marian A. Heidrick, 84, of Great Valley, died Thursday (Sept. 4, 2025) at Olean General Hospital, following a short illness.
Born March 22, 1941, in Salamanca, she was the daughter of the late Walter H. and May E. Clifford Heidrick.
She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1959.
Marian had been employed as a secretary for West Valley Nuclear Services until her retirement in 2000. She had previously been employed with the New York State Division of Youth in Great Valley.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to garden and enjoyed the beauty of nature. She was a 55-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the United Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters, Lisa M. Kuhaneck of Kill Buck and Julia A. Kuhaneck of Salamanca; a son, Randall E. (Barb Hilton) Kuhaneck of Kingwood, Texas; a granddaughter, Emma Kuhaneck; five grandsons, Matthew (Leslie) Kuhaneck, Darren Kuhaneck, Brandon Kuhaneck, Walter Kuhaneck and Christopher McAllister; two great-granddaughters, Nixie Massagli and Ivy Massagli; two great-grandsons, Kaysen Kuhaneck and Theo Kuhaneck; a sister, Doris Harris of Cartersville, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Scott Kuhaneck; a grandson, Todd Kuhaneck; a sister, Evelyn Crowley; and a brother, Richard Heidrick.
There will be no visitation.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
