OLEAN — Frank J. Rosetti, 77, recently of Eden Heights, Olean, passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2025, at The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, where he had been residing since March of this year.

Born July 5, 1948, in Olean, he was the son of Samuel and June Payne Rosetti.

Frank was a 1966 graduate of Olean High School and later served briefly in the U.S. Armed Forces.

He began employment with the Olean Times Herald until moving from Olean in 1980. He worked as a photographer and as a circulation manager for various newspapers throughout the United States until his retirement.

He was great with a camera and enjoyed photographing nature, especially birds. In his younger years he loved riding his motorcycle. He will be remembered for having a great sense of humor.

He is survived by three children, Jenny (Scott) Burroughs of Warren, Pa., and Christian Rosetti and Steven Rosetti, both of Allegany; three grandchildren, William Leese, Nathan Burroughs and Cassandra Burroughs; three brothers, Dave (Elaine) Rosetti of Olean, James Rosetti of Syracuse and Randy (Yolanda) Rosetti of Reynoldsville, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Terry Rosetti.

The family welcomes friends to a memorial visitation from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road, Olean. A service will begin at noon at the funeral home.
