Police reports 7/7/25
Salamanca Police
- Thursday, 2:39 p.m., James S. Zimmerman, 56, of Salamanca, was charged with second-degree menacing, a class A misdemeanor. Zimmerman was held pending arraignment.
- Saturday, 10:30 p.m., Jackie L. Chamberlain, 57, of Salamanca, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation. Chamberlain was held pending arraignment.
- Sunday, 5:05 a.m., Samantha K. Beaver, 26, of Lawtons, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08% or greater, unclassified misdemeanors; failure to keep right and moved from lane unsafely, infractions. Beaver was released with an appearance ticket.
- Sunday, 5:07 p.m., Jesse S. John, 36, of Salamanca, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Salamanca City Court. John was held pending arraignment.
New York State Police
- SOUTH VALLEY — Jayden L. Storey, 22, of Salamanca, was charged at 11:08 a.m. Friday with third-degree criminal possession of an assault weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon/ammunition feeding device, class D felonies; and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Storey was held pending arraignment.
- FREEDOM — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 3:22 p.m. Saturday on Route 98. An 18-year-old Eden resident was listed as the driver. One injury was reported.
- OLEAN — Christina M. Cox, 39, of Friendship, was charged at 6 p.m. Saturday with driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction, a class E felony, and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08% or greater, an unclassified misdemeanor. Cox was released to a third party.
