Salamanca Police
- Tuesday, 1 p.m., Douglas I. Reed, 41, of Kill Buck, was arrested on a warrant. He was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
- Wednesday, 4:59 a.m., Cheylene E. Cooper, 31, of Salamanca, was charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest, class A misdemeanors, and disorderly conduct, a violation. Cooper was processed, held and issued an appearance ticket.
New York State Police
- FREEDOM — Andrew A. Phillippi, 36, of Freedom, was charged at 7:57 a.m. Tuesday with menacing a police officer or peace offer, a class D felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use, resisting arrest, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration by preventing official function, second-degree aggravated harassment via physical contact of transit employee and criminal mischief with intent to damage property, all class A misdemeanors. Phillippi was turned over to another agency.
- BELFAST — Gary F. Cassidy, 56, of Belfast, was charged at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration by preventing official function and criminal mischief with intent to damage property, class A misdemeanors. Cassidy’s status was listed as central arraignment.
- GOWANDA — William D. Morris, 39, of Collins, was charged at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday with public lewdness – intentionally exposing one’s private parts in public, a class B misdemeanor. Morris was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
- AMITY — Derek J. Ruth, 41, of Elmira, was charged at 8:19 p.m. Tuesday with first-degree possession of a forged instrument, a class C felony. The charge stems from an incident reported April 28. Ruth’s status was listed as central arraignment.
