OLEAN — The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic returns July 23 for its 12th year at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville.

The tournament follows a classic four-person scramble with no handicaps, played on Holiday Valley’s Double Black Diamond Golf Course. There will also be fun contests: Putting Contest, sponsored by Impact Internet, Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive, sponsored by Cutco Corporation, and $2,500 Hole in One Shot, sponsored by Shults Nissan.  

There will also be fun with skins, a 50/50 and mulligans as well as a special Spirit Tastings by Ellicottville Distillery. Intandem is the Hole Disc sponsor.  

Registration and a patio lunch opens at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start will kick off the day at 12:30 p.m. Join after play in the buffet dinner at 5:30 p.m., a cash bar and awards.

Meanwhile, for the first time the Chamber Golf Classic is open to the public — no affiliation is required in order to participate; however, GOACC members and their employees will receive a discounted rate. The player fee for teams comprised of GOACC member  employees is $150 per player/$600 per team, and the player fee for public teams is $165 per player/$660 per team. Both include greens, golf cart, pre-tournament lunch on the patio and dinner.  

There will be a Corporate Division, comprised of teams from GOACC member businesses, and the Community Division, comprised of any four golfers. Hybrid teams of members and non-members are allowed and will be under the Community Division. Registration is limited to the first 30 teams.
