    Belfast Central graduates 26 in Class of 2025

    BELFAST — Belfast Central School has graduated 26 members of the Class of 2025.

    The class members are listed here:

    Ava Aronson: National Honor Society, Presidents Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, The Keuka College President’s Scholarship, a Theatre Arts Award, the Amy Shafer Gerrish Memorial Scholarship, the Dan Denner Scholarship, a Belfast Teacher’s Association Scholarship and a Belva Waite Scholarship.

    Matthew Barren: Completing two-year course of study in Natural Resources at the Belmont CTE center.

    Catherine Calanni: National Honor Society, President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, the Appier Wilson Scholarship, theAlfred State Alumni Scholarship, an Alfred State Scholars Award, the Alfred State Hometown Advantage Scholarship,the John E. Warner Memorial Award,a Robert Histed Honorary Scholarship,the Esther Coon Thomas Scholarship, Belfast Teacher’s Association Memorial Scholarship.

    Joseph Elliott: Student of the Month in Natural Resources at the Belmont Career and Technical Center, Allegany County Pomona Grange #45 Perseverance Award, Lisa Denning Memorial Award.

    Sadie Estabrook: National Honor Society, SUNY Fredonia President’s Award for Excellence, Lois M. Lilly Scholarship,  Threatre Arts Award, New York State Scholarship of Academic Excellence, Senior Going Into Music Award,  New York State Civic Ambassadors Award, President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, Belfast Area Betterment Association Gary, Joyce Master’s Scholarship, Robert Histed Honorary Scholarship.

    Braeden Geyer: Two-year course of study in the field of Media Technology at the Belmont CTE Center, Belfast Historical Society Scholarship.

    Jordan Hamer: Early Childhood Development and Human Services at the Belmont CTE Center.

    Allyson Hazelton: National Honor Society, Class Treasurer, President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence,  Messiah University Grant, Messiah University Distinguished Scholar Award, Messiah University Dean’s Scholarship, Messiah University Provost’s Scholarship, Allegany County National Honor Society Scholarship, Belfast Lion’s Club Scholarship, Belfast Area Betterment Association Walt Lindsley Scholarship, The John W. Hasper Scholarship for Excellence in Public Service, Belva Waite Scholarship.

    Madison Hall: Volunteer for SPCA, Pink Pumpkin Project, autism awareness through initiatives at RISE Academy.
