Mostly bright weather outlook for July 4th week
A chance of rain and thunderstorms persists through today, leading up to the remainder of a Fourth of July week and then a weekend that, for the most part, looks positive from a weather standpoint.
Some fog could develop overnight into early Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, but Wednesday should otherwise be mostly sunny with a high of about 82. On Thursday there is a 40% chance of rain at times but the day will otherwise be mostly sunny with a high near 80 and then a low in the low 50s going into the dawning of Independence Day.
Friday, July 4, will be delightfully sunny with a high of 79 and the skies should be clear or partly cloudy going into the evening, with overnight lows dropping into the 50s. The NWS predicts Saturday will also be mostly sunny — although the temperature will rise to the upper 80s.
The holiday weekend will close out on Sunday with, again, a high in the upper 80s and mostly sunny conditions — although the chance of some rain is in the forecast.
