    Bolivar-Richburg celebrates the Class of 2025

    BOLIVAR — Bolivar-Richburg Central School honored the achievements of the 50 members of the Class of 2025 during its 31st commencement ceremony on Sunday in the Norene Ferris Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

    Led by Superintendent Jeff Margeson and Secondary Principal Jessica Talbot, the event recognized the academic accomplishments of this year’s graduating seniors.

    Salutatorian Eleanor Smith and valedictorian Raegan Giardini each delivered remarks reflecting on the journey of their class and looking ahead to the future.

    Dozens of local and collegiate scholarships and awards were announced to recognize students’ academic achievements, leadership, and service to their school and community. In total, students were awarded $1.19 million in scholarships.

    Board of Education President Amanda McDonnell presented the Board of Education Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement and participation in academics, athletics, musical groups, clubs, and organizations. This year’s recipients were Samuel Martin and Nadia Baldwin.

    Of the Bolivar-Richburg graduates, 67% plan to attend college, 24% will enter the workforce, 6% plan to join the military and 3% are undecided.
