The hit, the battle, the strength of the fish, the thrill of that first glance when its true size becomes apparent and the nervousness and anxiety the trophy will escape. When you land your biggest fish of any species the high is exceptional and long lasting. Scott Neely landed his biggest crappie on our latest trip, a 14-inch bruiser. Then we caught more big ones.
