Students in the Olean City School District from Olean Intermediate Middle and Washington West and East View elementary schools once again teamed up to help raise money for the Cattaraugus County SPCA. Each school had special days in which students made donations in exchange for being able to wear their pajamas to school. Students raised $2,000 to put toward spaying and neutering efforts to help animals at the shelter find their “furever” homes. OIMS student Brayden Tierney and East View student Cale Anderson are in the back row holding the sign. In the front row are OIMS's Chloe Tierney, East View's Calla Schnell and Washington West's Sophia Burney and Jamel Burney. Also in the photo is Papa, who is available for adoption at the SPCA.
