OLEAN — June Giles, distribution center operator for Cutco Cutlery Corp., will retire effective July 1 after 37 years with the company. However, she will continue to work in the company’s part-time program.

Giles joined Cutco on Feb. 22, 1988, as a degreaser operator.  She was also a packer, etcher and assembler, before assuming her current position on Feb. 14, 2019.

Giles lives in Allegany with her husband, Ricky (maintenance stores attendant for Cutco). They have two children, Kristy and Ricky Jr., nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
