‘Alley-Cats’ compete at NYS Special Olympics in Ithaca
ITHACA — Eight athletes from the Cattaraugus County “Alley-Cats” competed at the New York State Special Olympic Statewide Summer Games held at Ithaca College June 20-22.
Earning medals in bowling were: Nancy Abbott, bronze in singles, bronze in team; Christopher Case, silver in singles, bronze in team; Anna Daniels, silver in singles, bronze in team; Willie Fye, bronze in singles, bronze in team; Stephen Hornaday, gold in singles, bronze in team; David Jones, 4th in singles, bronze in team; Matthew Mitchell, bronze in singles, bronze in team; and, Larry Ordway, gold in singles, bronze in team.
Coaches Dr. Carl Case and Marsha Case accompanied the athletes.
Cattaraugus County Special Olympics is a member agency of the Cattaraugus-Allegany County United Way.
