LATHAM — Several area members of the New York Army National Guard have earned promotions, which were announced this past week. They are:

• Lloyd Kinnicutt of Wellsville, Company C, New York Recruiting & Retention Battalion, promoted to private first class.
• Elijah Rosa Rios of Alfred, Company C, New York Recruiting & Retention Battalion, promoted to private first class.
• Landon Arnold of Bolivar, Company C, New York Recruiting & Retention Battalion, promoted to private.
• Colton Cowburn of Belmont, 222nd Military Police Company, promoted to private first class.
