Olean Oilers win 10-6 over Hornell Steamers
HORNELL- The Olean Oilers won 10-6 over the Hornell Steamers Tuesday with each team finding success at the plate. Both had nine hits while Olean had 10 walks to Hornell’s seven.
Olean led 4-1 after four innings, but a five run fifth inning from Hornell put them in front. The next inning Olean quickly got the lead back, scoring three runs with Hartley Rahman getting a two-RBI double to make it 7-6.
The best hitters for Olean included Dustin Hendrix (2-5, three RBIs) while Caden Wolfley and Bryce Neely each got three walks. Starting pitcher Carlos Colunga pitched four innings with one earned run, picking up the win.
Olean (5-2) will next go against the Dansville Gliders at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at home.
