Olean drops first game at Bradner, falls 12-3 to Genesee
Olean had the weather cooperate Monday to be able to play their first game at Bradner Stadium. However, the Oilers got pounded 12-3 by the Genesee Rapids.

It was a tough start, falling behind 4-0 in the first inning, starting pitcher Matthew Boffolo exited after giving up four runs while retiring just two Rapid batters. Things would settle down after that, as Genesee was held scoreless for the next two innings.
Olean also added a run in the bottom of third with a bases loaded walk from Bryce Neely. But the Oilers couldn’t score any more after that.

The Rapids began to pour it on in the fifth, scoring five runs to go ahead 9-1. Brodie Collins went 2-3 with a walk as one of the few Olier bright spots, Braeden Dyck had five RBIs for Genesee.
The Oilers have two home games this week, Wednesday against the Dansville Gliders and Friday against the Hornell Steamers.
