Salamanca Police
- Wednesday, 3:22 p.m., Sara A. Alsaad, 26, of Gowanda, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Persia Town Court. Alsaad was turned over to the Gowanda Police Department.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office
- SALAMANCA — Michael Smalls, 48, of Buffalo, was charged Thursday with second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor. The charge stems from a traffic stop on Erie Street. Smalls was released with an appearance ticket.
New York State Police
- YORKSHIRE — Scott E. Harvey, 37, of Gowanda, was charged at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday with second-degree aggravated harassment, a class A misdemeanor. The charge stems from an incident reported Feb. 10. Harvey was held pending arraignment.
- ALFRED — Arron W. Ross, 42, of Alfred Station, was charged at 5:59 p.m. Wednesday with second-degree criminal mischief, a class D felony. Ross was held pending arraignment.
- CARROLLTON — Derek J. Brown, 29, of Salamanca, was charged at 11:42 p.m. Wednesday with two counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a passenger under 16, a class E felony; driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level of 0.08$ or greater, unclassified misdemeanors. Brown was released to a third party.
- BELFAST — A two-vehicle accident was reported at 1:30 a.m. Thursday on Route 19. James Thomas Frawley, 19, of Angelica, and Caleb Warner, 29, of Belfast, were identified as the drivers. One injury was reported.
