Police reports 6/11/25: OPD make multiple drug arrests
OLEAN — The Olean Police Department reported Wednesday that nine arrests had been made over the past couple of days on drug-related charges.
The arrests were the result of the execution of a search warrant on a residence located at 119 N. Clinton St. early Wednesday morning conducted by the Olean Police Department Street Crimes Unit and the Emergency Response Team. Officers allegedly discovered approximately 25 grams of cocaine during the search.
As a result of the search, Dysean L. Peterson, 27, of that address, was charged at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance/narcotic, class B felonies. Peterson was also arrested on an outstanding indictment warrant related to alleged previous sales of fentanyl in the city.
Also arrested was Logan M. Shearer, 29, of 813 Wayne St., who was arrested at 10:11 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Superior Court related to charges of two counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance/narcotic, class B felonies. Shearer allegedly sold a fentanyl/carfentanil combination to officers of the Street Crimes Unit.
Shearer was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail.
Tia L. Barber, 22, no permanent address, was arrested at 10:52 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Superior Court related to charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance/narcotic, class B felonies. Barber allegedly sold crack cocaine to agents of the Street Crimes Unit. Barber is currently incarcerated at Cattaraugus County Jail and is due back in court at a later date.
Thomas A. Cashmore, 39, of 144 S. Union St., was arrested at 10:57 a.m. Wednesday on an indictment warrant related to charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance/narcotic, class B felonies. Cashmore allegedly sold crack cocaine to agents of the Street Crimes Unit. Cashmore’s status was not reported.
Tobias C. Price, 47, of 120 S. Third St., was arrested at 11:04 a.m. Wednesday on an outstanding indictment warrant related to charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance/narcotic, class B felonies. Price allegedly sold crack cocaine to agents of the Street Crimes Unit. Price’s status was not reported.
Jesse J. Conner, 46, of 422 E. State St., was arrested at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday on an indictment warrant related to charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance/narcotic, class B felonies. Conner allegedly sold crack cocaine to agents of the Street Crimes Unit. Conner’s status was not reported.
David E. Brooks, 54, and Rebecca R. Rivera, 47, both of 122 S. Third St., were each arrested at 11:19 a.m. Wednesday on indictment warrants related to charges of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, class D felonies. Brooks and Rivera allegedly sold prescription pills to agents of the Street Crimes Unit. Their status was not reported.
Dillon Jay Lichy, 28, of 4116 Center St., was arrested at 11:29 a.m. Wednesday on an indictment warrant related to charges of two counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance/narcotic, class B felonies. Lichy allegedly sold fentanyl to agents of the Street Crimes Unit. Lichy’s status was not reported.
The investigations leading to the indictments were assisted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrests.
Olean Police
- Monday, 8:30 a.m., one injury was reported following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of the North Union Street Extension and Main Street. A vehicle operated by Kyle L. Foskit, 39, of Hinsdale, reportedly struck the rear of a vehicle operated by Clifford C. Pyne, 63, of East Aurora, which was stopped in traffic. Foskit was subsequently cited for following too closely, an infraction.
Wellsville Police
- Tuesday, no time provided, Jacquelyn J. Johnson, 24, of Wellsville, was charged with third-degree assault, a class A misdemeanor. The charge stems from an incident reported April 12 on North Main Street. Johnson was released with an appearance ticket.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office
- LITTLE VALLEY — Mary Jo Lindberg, 59, of Randolph, was charged at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday with third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony, and third-degree possession of a forged instrument, a class A misdemeanor. Lindberg was released with an appearance ticket.
New York State Police
- ALLEGANY — A two-vehicle accident was reported at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday on Buffalo Road. Donna Marie Fuller, 58, of Machias, and Colton Bradley Monroe, 35, of Allegany, were identified as the drivers. One injury was reported.
