Police reports 6/10/25
Salamanca Police
- Monday, 9:37 a.m., Brittany M. Pannell, 38, of Salamanca, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Salamanca City Court. Pannell was released with an appearance ticket.
- Monday, 9:48 p.m., Jerry A. Halstead, 75, of Salamanca, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor, and inadequate headlamps, an infraction. Halstead was released with an appearance ticket.
- Tuesday, 4:45 a.m., Mary J. Hanby, 61, of Olean, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor. Hanby was released with an appearance ticket.
Cuba Police
- May 26, 8 p.m., William K. Eisenhart, 34, of Olean, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and unclassified misdemeanor; improper plates, operating without insurance, uninspected motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle out of class, infractions. Eisenhart was released with an appearance ticket.
- May 31, 11:34 a.m., Cory A. Pearse, 36, no permanent address, was arrested on an active bench warrant. Pearse was transported to Allegany County Jail and held pending arraignment.
- June 2, 2:08 p.m., Jason R. Zielinski, 49, of Cuba, was arrested on an active bench warrant. Zielinski was transported to Allegany County Jail and held pending arraignment.
- June 3, 1:41 p.m., Robert K. Amundson, 71, of Cuba, was charged with public lewdness, a class B misdemeanor. Amundson was transported to Allegany County Jail and held pending arraignment.
- Sunday, 3:30 p.m., Eric J. Burkhard, 40, of New Hudson, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense, class E felonies. Burkhard was transported to Allegany County Jail and held on $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 property bond.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office
- ASHFORD — Hugh D. Smith, 53, of Colden, and Marissa A. Sampson, 33, of Springville, were each charged Sunday with criminal possession of a firearm, a class E felony. Sampson was additionally charged with five counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. The charges stem from a traffic stop, during which deputies allegedly found methamphetamine, cocaine and other drug paraphernalia as well as a loaded handgun inside the vehicle. Smith and Sampson were both remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail and held pending further court proceedings.
Allegany County Sheriff’s Office
- BELMONT — Joseph Anderson, 37, of Wellsville, and Nazir Binhuguley, 23, of Buffalo, were each charged Friday with second-degree assault, a class D felony. The charges stem from an incident reported May 31 at Allegany County Jail, during which the suspects allegedly caused physical injury to an incarcerated individual. Anderson and Binhuguley were held pending further court proceedings.
New York State Police
- PERRYSBURG — Connor Evan Krone, 25, of Gowanda, was charged at 10:09 a.m. Monday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a class A misdemeanor. Krone was released with an appearance ticket.
- CARROLLTON — Joseph P. Dempsey, 45, of Olean, was charged at 4:58 p.m. Monday with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. The charged stems from an incident reported May 28. Dempsey was released with an appearance ticket.
- AMITY — Brendan J. Wesche, 29, of Wellsville, was charged at 6:12 a.m. Tuesday with three counts of second-degree criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor. Wesche was held pending arraignment.
