John K. Ferrio, husband, father, grandfather

CUBA — John K. Ferrio, 68, of Cuba, passed away Saturday (June 7, 2025) at home, after a short illness.

Born Dec. 5, 1956, in Olean, he was a son of Roland A. and Paula J. Richardson Ferrio.

John spent his working career as a manager for Kwik Fill working in Allegany, Bradford, Pa., Franklinville, Olean and last in Wellsville, retiring after 27 years.

He enjoyed NASCAR, football and walking his dog, Josie.

In addition to his longtime companion, Karen Denning of Cuba, he is survived by three sons, Jason Burdick of Athens Pa., Justin (Darcie) Burdick of Richburg and Joshua (Tiffani) Burdick of Allegany; his grandchildren, Brock, Brandon, Autumn, Robbie, Ryan, Grayson, Joel and Payton; a great-granddaughter, Saphire; four sisters, Lynn Owen, Nancy Ferrio, Amy Titus and Mary Beatty, all of Olean; and several nieces and nephews. He was looking forward to the arrival of a new grandbaby in December.

He was predeceased by his parents.

At his request there will be no services.
