Police reports 6/6/25
Olean Police
- Friday, 12:30 p.m., Renee Louise Mighells, 37, no permanent address, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Olean City Court related to a charge of petit larceny, a class. misdemeanor. Mighells was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail and held pending further court proceedings.
Salamanca Police
- Sunday, 8:16 a.m., Angelo A. Contreraz, 30, of Salamanca, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Salamanca City Court. Contreraz was held pending arraignment.
- Wednesday, 1:06 p.m., Kacy R. Ferguson, 29, of Olean, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor; use of a motor vehicle without interlock device, a class A misdemeanor; and unlicensed operator, an infraction. Ferguson was released with an appearance ticket.
- Wednesday, 4:43 p.m., Evelyn A. Bennink, 46, of Salamanca, was arrested on a bench warrant related to a charge of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor. Bennink was released with an appearance ticket.
- Thursday, 6:37 p.m., Mitchell J. Wirth, 29, of Cattaraugus, was charged with operation of a motor vehicle while registration is suspended/revoked, an unclassified misdemeanor. Wirth was released with an appearance ticket.
Wellsville Police
- Thursday, no time provided, Sharra L. Maillet, 33 and Rusty S. Croley, 38, both of Wellsville, were each arrested on warrants related to charges of petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. The charges stem from an incident reported at the Corner Laundromat on Pine Street. Maillet and Croley were transported to Allegany County Jail and held pending arraignment.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office
- WEST VALLEY — Evan G. Bohlen, 41, of Kenmore, was charged at 7:12 p.m. Monday with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor. Bohlen was released with an appearance ticket.
- ELLICOTTVILLE — Richard J. Kozlowski, 39, of Jamestown, was charged at 7:16 p.m. Wednesday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony; two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device, class A misdemeanors; and registration display violation, an infraction. The charges stem from a traffic stop on Route 242, during which Kozlowski was allegedly discovered to possess suspected methamphetamine, suspected crack cocaine, suspected psilocybin, suspected LSD, and miscellaneous unspecified drug paraphernalia. Kozlowski is due back in court at a later date.
New York State Police
- NEW HUDSON — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 948 a.m. Thursday on Route 305. Sally M. Petti, 59, of Fillmore, was identified as the driver. One injury was reported.
- BELFAST — James Anthony Anticola, 46, of Grand Island, was charged at 3:45 p.m. Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of second-degree criminal contempt, class A misdemeanors. Anticola was held pending arraignment.
- ALLEGANY — Mary M. Bedard, 38, of Allegany, was charged at 7:22 p.m. Thursday with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Bedard was released with an appearance ticket.
- HUME — An 18-year-old Gainesville resident was charged at 7:44 p.m. Thursday with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. The suspect was released with an appearance ticket.
