Police reports 6/5/25: OPD make multiple drug arrests
OLEAN — The Olean Police Department reported Thursday that multiple drug-related arrests had been made in recent days as the department investigated the alleged sale of crack cocaine in the city.
Stacey R. Spencer Jr., 36, of Olean, was arrested on May 23 on an indictment warrant related to charges of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, class B felonies.
Phyllis Jackson, 63, of 332 Laurel Ave., was arrested Tuesday on an indictment warrant related to charges of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, class B felonies.
Danee Ellis, 32, of 1304 N. Union St., was arrested Tuesday on an indictment warrant related to charges of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, class B felonies.
Heather M. Chase, 33, of Little Valley, was arrested Wednesday on an indictment warrant related to charges of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, class B felonies.
All four arrests were the result of an investigation by the Olean Police Department Street Crimes Unit into the alleged sale of crack cocaine in the City of Olean.
Spencer, Jackson and Ellis were transported to Cattaraugus County Jail and held pending further court proceedings. Chase was held pending arraignment.
Olean Police
- Wednesday, 1:19 p.m., no injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident on Third Avenue near School Street. A vehicle operated by Christopher Elliott, 42, of 318 Center St., reportedly struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. Elliott was subsequently cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic, an infraction.
Wellsville Police
- Wednesday, no time provided, Jennifer M. Perkins, 40, of Wellsville, was charged fourth-degree grand larceny and computer trespass, class E felonies. The charges stem from an incident reported on Madison Street. Perkins was transported to Allegany County Jail and held pending arraignment.
New York State Police
- DELEVAN — Jeremy H. Wawrzyński, 38 of Holland, was charged Wednesday with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Wawrzynski was released with an appearance ticket.
- FRIENDSHIP — A one-vehicle accident was reported at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday on Route 17. Devin Raheem Speller, 21, of Buffalo, was identified as the driver. Two injuries were reported.
- ALLEGANY — Christina L. Barrick, 46, of Olean, was charged at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Barrick was released with an appearance ticket.
- BOLIVAR — An 18-year-old Little Genesee resident was charged at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday with second-degree menacing, a class A misdemeanor. The suspect was released with an appearance ticket.
