Ronald McSquirrel’s new location

Olean’s Woodland in the City co-founders Bob and Amy Sherburne unveil the “Ronald McSquirrel” statue with David Singelyn Jr. (center-right), of franchise owner The Singelyn Group, and students and staff from Washington West Elementary School on Thursday at the Olean McDonald’s restaurant on West State Street. The statue had been designed by Melissa Meyer, a previous co-owner of the restaurant, and until recently the statue had been one of several on display in the city’s Lincoln Park.
