OLEAN — Total Senior Care, Inc. announces it has been awarded a grant through the ALDI Community Gift Card Program to support its ongoing Supply Pantry initiative.
The award consists of 50 ALDI gift cards, each valued at $10, totaling $500 in grocery support for local seniors.
This generous donation directly enhances Total Senior Care’s existing program that helps participants access essential non-food items such as hygiene products, cleaning supplies and over-the-counter wellness goods — items not typically covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
“This support from ALDI is more than a gift — it’s a statement that our seniors matter,” said Melissa Sullivan, CEO of Total Senior Care. “These gift cards help meet everyday needs that can often fall through the cracks. We are grateful for ALDI’s partnership in helping our participants maintain independence and dignity.”
In addition to accessing household and personal care items through the pantry, participants who attend the day center can earn points toward receiving ALDI gift cards that further support their needs.
“It’s amazing to see how something as simple as a $10 gift card can provide real relief and flexibility for the individuals we serve,” added Roxanne Padlo, Executive Program Director. “These cards help supplement limited budgets and allow our seniors to choose the personal care items they need most.”
