CATTARAUGUS WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

General Notice

Village of Cattaraugus (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the Cattaraugus Water System Improvements Project (project). Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Village Hall located at 14 Main Street, Cattaraugus, NY 14719, until Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids

received will be publicly opened and read.

Bids are requested for Contract No. 1: Water Tank

Improvements

Construction. The Project includes the following Work:

Reseal and Maintenance of Glass-Fused-To-Steel Bolted Water

Storage Tank

Bidding Documents may be obtained in portable document format (PDF) by emailing the

Issuing Office at aralicki@squareeng.com. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of

Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing

Office.

No pre-bid meeting will be held during the bidding process

Only written Requests For Information (RFI) will be accepted. RFI’s will be accepted until 5:00 PM (Local Time) on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the attention of Project Manager, Andrew Ralicki via email: aralicki@squareeng.com. If necessary, an Addendum will be issued by 5:00 PM (Local Time) on Monday, May 4, 2026.

Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security. All bids shall be binding for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein. Purchases made by the Owner are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax. Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials. Exemption certificates will be executed upon request. For all

further requirements regarding bid

submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding

Documents.
