TOWN OF HUME

PUBLIC NOTICE

Public Hearing to discuss changing rates for Water and Sewer in the Town of Hume to address Debt Service and Meter Rates.

WHEREAS The Town Board of the Town of Hume (the “Town Board” and the “Town”)

respectively, in the County of Allegany, State of New York, recently understood projects to expand the existing public water and sewer system and modernize,

repair, and upgrade a significant portion of the

sewer system; and

WHEREAS certain changes must be made to address debt service payments as well as ongoing service charges to pay for the maintenance, repair, upkeep and fund a reserve account in the event emergency repairs need to be made; and

WHEREAS a Public Hearing must be held to discuss the proposed changes and give the opportunity for the public to be heard.

THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED THAT a Public Hearing be held at the Fillmore Fire Department, 24 S. Genesee St.,

Fillmore, NY on DECEMBER 10TH, 2025 at 7:15 pm.
