NOTICE OF

PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held

before the Town Board of the Town of Granger at the Town Hall, 10305 County Route 15, Granger, New York, at 6:30P.M. on April 13, 2026, concerning Introductory Local Law Number 1 of 2026, entitled “LOCAL LAW

IMPOSING

SIX-MONTH MORATORIUM ON COMMERCIAL SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS, ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS, AND WIND GENERATION SYSTEMS WITHIN THE TOWN OF GRANGER.” The purpose of the proposed local law is to assess and address its local laws to promote community planning values by properly regulating future commercial scale solar installations, commercial energy storage systems, and commercial wind generation systems as well as developing of a Comprehensive Plan, as well as passing a local law to establish a planning board and developing a Site Plan Review Local Law to ensure the health, welfare and public safety for the town residents. A copy of the

proposed local law is available for

inspection at the

office of the Town Clerk.

At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter of the proposed local law will be heard concerning the same.
