TAKE NOTICE that I, Patricia R. Schurr, the undersigned Collector of

Taxes of the Town of Friendship, Allegany County, State of New York, have Duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Friendship for the year 2026, and that I will attend at 4 E. Main St., Friendship, NY 14739 – Monday-

Thursday 9:00 am – 12:00 and 1:30-3:30 pm;

Friday- 8-11:30 am.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2026 with no penalty or interest. On all taxes received after such date there will be a penalty of 1% added of paid in February 2026 and 2% penalty if paid in

March 2026, 3 % will be added if paid on April 1st. These payments are made to the Local Collector. Taxes not paid will be returned to the Allegany County Treasurer.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of the law, the

tax roll of the Town of Friendship will returned to the County Treasurer of Allegany County after April 1, 2026.
