PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE

NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Franklinville will hold a public hearing on

Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 7:01 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Franklinville Town Hall, 11 Park Square, Franklinville, New York, to consider the adoption of the following proposed Local Law:

Local Law No. 2 of 2026 – A proposed Local Law amending the Town of Franklinville Zoning Law to establish a temporary moratorium on Data Centers, Artificial Intelligence Computing Facilities, Cryptocurrency Mining Facilities, and Similar

High-Intensity

Computing Uses.

The purpose of the proposed Local Law is to establish a temporary twelve (12) month moratorium on the acceptance,

processing, and

approval of applications for certain high-intensity

computing facilities while the Town Board studies and considers appropriate amendments to the Town of Franklinville Zoning Law.

The proposed

Local Law is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Office of the Town Clerk,

Franklinville Town Hall, 11 Park Square, Franklinville, New York.

At the above date, time, and place, all interested persons will be given an

opportunity to be heard.
