Town of Carrollton adoption of Local Law 2 of the Year 2025, titled “A Local law to Override the Tax Levy Limit Established in General Municipal Law §3-c for Fiscal Year 2026,” was adopted By the Town of Carrollton on October 21st, 2025 at the Monthly Board Meeting. This law permits the Town to adopt a budget for 2026 with a property tax levy exceeding the limit set by General Municipal Law §3-c, also known as the New York State Property Tax Cap. The Local Law was adopted by the Town Board’s unanimous vote and is effective upon filing with the Secretary of State.
