SECTION 001112 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (N.Y. PUBLIC WORK)

THE ALLEGANY-LIMESTONE CENTRAL SCHOOL

DISTRICT

Invites bids for SITE, GENERAL, ROOFING, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, and ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION work for the 2024 CIP, located at

multiple buildings across Allegany-Limestone Central School District.

Separate sealed bids will be received by Allegany-Limestone Central School District in Room 42 (the Board Room), at the Middle/High School, until 2:00pm local time on January 20, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid is received at the designated location prior to the designated time for opening bids. Bidders

attending the bid opening in person should enter the building at the

District Office

entrance.

Bidding Documents will be available on or after December 15, 2025. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by Prime Contractors, Subcontractors and Vendors, at Rotolite Elliott, One Grove Street,

Pittsford, New York, upon deposit of $100.00 per set. Document deposit checks shall be made out to

Allegany-

Limestone CSD and mailed to Rotolite Elliott.

A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held in Room 42 (the Board Room) at the Middle/High School, on January 7, 2026, at 10:00 am local time. Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend. It is recommended that bidders be familiar with the contract documents prior to attending the scheduled pre-bid meeting. Bidders attending the Prebid meeting should enter the building at the District Office entrance.

A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bid is required and must accompany proposal. Performance Bond and Labor Material

Payment Bond equal to one

hundred percent (100%) of Contract Sum are required to be delivered at time Contract is signed with Owner.

No bidder may withdraw their bid

within forty-five (45) days after date of bid opening.

Attention of the

Bidder is particularly called to the following:

– The Owner's sales tax exemption.

– The minimum wage rates to be paid under the

contract.

– The requirements pertaining to certification of Non-

Collusion in preparation of proposals submitted for this Project.

– New York State Contractor

Registry – In compliance with New York State Department of Labor requirements a copy of the Contractor Registration Form shall be submitted with the bid.

Bidders will comply with New York State prevailing wage and supplement requirements.

The Allegany-

Limestone Central School District hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be in the best interest of Allegany-Limestone Central School District.
