The Rushford Lake Recreation District is requesting bids from interested

Industrial Painting Companies specializing in bridge painting/ water tower painting. The work includes material build up removal, surface preparation, and coating of the existing steel superstructure and gate equipment. The Installing contractor must have successful experience in installation of similar coating systems being applied to new and existing steel with a minimum of 10 years’ experience. Provide references upon request. The project site is at the Caneadea Dam located at

Rushford Lake.

A meeting to go over the requirements of the work will be held at 11:00am June 25,

2026. It is requested that bidders attend this meeting to fully understand the scope of work and access the site. Proposed Bid Date is July 2, 2026. New York State certified Minority and Women’s business firms are encouraged to submit bids.
