Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School District

I. Overview

Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School District (CLV CSD) is seeking proposals from eligible community-based organizations (CBOs) within its district boundaries to collaborate in the delivery of New York State-funded Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) services for four-year-old children, in accordance with Section 3602-e of the New York State Education Law and Subpart 151-1 of the Commissioner’s Regulations. The goal of this collaboration is to meet the 10% community-based set-aside requirement and expand high-quality prekindergarten options for families in our community.

II. Eligible Providers Eligible agencies include:

– Licensed and registered Child Day Care Centers

– Family Day Care and Group Family Day Care Programs

– Head Start

agencies

– Nursery schools

– Non-profit organizations or other programs serving preschool-aged children

All providers must:

– Be located within the boundaries of CLV CSD

– Hold appropriate NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS)

licensure

– Demonstrate capacity to deliver high-quality programming aligned with NYS Prekindergarten Foundation for the Common Core standards

III. Scope of

Services

The selected

provider(s) will:

– Collaborate with CLV CSD in planning and delivering full-day UPK programming (minimum 5 hours/day, 180 days/year)

– Maintain compliance with all State regulations

– Participate in professional development and quality improvement

activities

– Collect and submit programmatic and fiscal data as required

– Engage families and support smooth transitions to kindergarten

IV. Proposal

Requirements

Each proposal must include:

1. Agency Overview (mission, location, licensing info, staffing)

2. Description of Pre-K Program (curriculum, daily schedule, student capacity, classroom environment)

3. Compliance Evidence (OCFS documentation, recent inspection reports, etc.) 4. Experience and Qualifications (staff credentials, past collaborations)

5. Program Budget (anticipated costs, including staffing, materials, etc.)

6. Letters of Support (optional but encouraged)

VI. Evaluation

Criteria
